Introduced in Term 24 by substitute Herbology Professor Jacob Cutter. The spell is used to sever the roots from plants, specifically from witchweed that had infiltrated the school's Venomous Tentaculas. The wand movement is to merely swipe the tip of the wand across that which you wish to sever.
